Georgian swimmer Irakli Bolkvadze has set a new record at the 2013 Barcelona world swimming championship. It took him 2:03.55 minutes in a complex swimming style, which was not enough to move to the finals, but in the brass swimming style the Georgian sportsman covered 50 meters distance in 33.23 seconds. It was the best time in the qualifying round between 50 competitors.
In 2012 Irakli Bolkvadze won the bronze medal at the young swimmers’ championship and also participated in London Olympic Games that same year.
