The person who visited us in the editorial office presented a rather scandalous version which, until now, was hardly known to the people. Our respondent proves that he is a witness of Zhvania’s assassination. At this stage, he refused to disclose his name but declared that he is ready to cooperate with the Prosecutor’s Office.

Pro-Russian groups, clashes and aims

Events held by supporters of the Eurasian Union and Russia have ended into several clashes in Tbilisi. Eurasian Institute is one of the organizations which supports a tighter connection between Tbilisi and Moscow and rejects Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations. Their event at Tbilisi Cinema House on March 24 encouraged a rally of supporters of the European path outside the building and a clash between the two sides occurred. Social networks were full of videos filmed at the Cinema house where half of the gathered people honored Russian soldiers killed during the August War in 2008. The gathering of another pro Eurasian Union organization, Eurasian Choice, followed the event. The organization members held an online conference with Russia.
