Georgian Dream coalition releases a statement about proposal of Kutaisi City Hall.
“Georgian Dream Coalition addressed Kutaisi City Hall on 28 May for permission to hold a protest on 7 June in Kutaisi.
The initiators of the manifestation warned City Hall that Georgian Dream will hold a protest on 7 June, from 00:00 to 24:00 on Aghmashenebeli square in Kutaisi.
We were responded to on 31 May from Kutaisi City Hall that Georgian Dream will not be able to gather supporters and hold the protest. The reason for denial was declared by Tengiz Topuridze, head of administrative service of Kutaisi City Hall the children’s festival planned from 1 June to 1 July”, the statement reads.
Georgian Dream publishes a list of the events saying why the coalition will not be able to protest on 7 June: concert of kindergarten children from 11:00 to 13:00; school Didro will perform at Lado Meskhishvili state drama theatre No. 7; concert of Geo Start of Kutaisi to be held from 17:00 to 20:00.
