James Appathurai to arrive in Georgia on 11 June

James Appathurai, NATO Secretary General’s Representative for South Caucasus and Central Asia, will arrive in Georgia on 11 June, Tengiz Gogotishvili, head of the Information Center for NATO, told journalists.
James Appathurai will arrive in Georgia within the framework of NATO Week planned for 11-16 June. According to Gogotishvili, Appathurai will open a conference at the Courtyard Marriot hotel on 11 June.
NATO Week will be geographically very wide. It will be held in Tbilisi and several regions, Gogotishvili said.
Several ambassadors of NATO member states are also going to arrive in Georgia. They will deliver lectures within the framework of NATO Week.
‘This is a good chance, as after the very important Chicago summit we have a lot to say’, Gogotishvili said.
